Description

The threaded ball joint is also called a shaft end (Rod end) and can be made with an internal thread. A GE type ball joint is installed in a cast housing that is internally threaded. The nominal size of the internal thread is always the same as the nominal internal diameter of the GE eye. Ball joints with internal thread can be of SI or SIKAC design. Ball joints with internal thread can be made with right-hand or left-hand thread. Right-hand drive is the basic designation. In the case of left-hand traffic, an L is indicated. SIL or SILKAC.
