Bearing sprockets
General information
Bearing sprockets are also called tension sprockets. The task of bearing sprockets is to keep the roller chains tight. In all cases, they are installed as third or "more" sprockets next to the sprockets performing the drive. The tensioning sprockets must always be made in a design that is identical to the design of our used roller chain. A tension sprocket marked 084 does not exist, a tension sprocket marked 083 must be used instead.
Bearing (tensioning) sprockets are not suitable for drive, as they rotate on the drive shaft. If you are looking for a sprocket not for tensioning, but for drive, choose between hub, flat or tapered clamping versions!
