Flow meter toothed belts
General information
Timing belts that can be purchased by the flow meter are made with standard tooth pitches corresponding to endless production timing belts. Their use is usually linear movements, e.g. it is used as drive belts for gates, doors and lifting structures. The running meter toothed belts are fastened with a clamping plate placed at the end of the belt.
Timing belts produced in flow meters can be made of rubber or polyurethane (PU). Running meter toothed belts made of rubber are NOT endless, i.e. under no circumstances can they be used as a normal drive belt. The timing belts made of polyurethane can also be used as linear drive belts, but they can also be used as normal marine belts if they are made endless by baking. It is important to know, however, that the power transmission capacity of endless polyurethane toothed belts is only approx. half of the power transmission capabilities of endless polyurethane timing belts. The reason for this is that, in the case of endless belts, the force-carrying fiber is also endless, while in the case of endless baking, the force-carrying fiber is not made endless, only the material of the polyurethane body... Running meter timing belts are individually cut to size when ordering. We do not accept cancellations after the order has been confirmed! We do not take back or exchange cut belts!
