Classic profile V-belts

General information

Classic profile clad V-belts are "AZ" V-belts. The average user, when he thinks of a V-belt, jumps into this product... It has been listed in the standard books in unchanged sizes for decades. Width-to-height ratio of 1:1.6. The rubber core of the V-belt is coated with fabric. Characteristically it has a black color. Sizes produced are 5, 6Y, 8K, 10Z, 13A, 17B, 20, 22C, 25D, 38E, 40E. These numbers represent the upper width of the V-belt profile.

Some V-belt types are also documented according to ISO standards, these belts can also be marked with letters. A stands for strap 13, Z stands for belt ten, and so on. Interestingly, the E strap is manufactured in a section width of 38 mm according to IS2494 and 40 mm according to ISO4184. However, belts 38 and 40 are interchangeable triggers used in the same pulley.

In our webshop we also indicate the imperial size of the classic profile straps in the Size3 field. It consists of a letter and three numbers. The letter shows the profile of the strap and the numbers show the length of the strap in inches (inches and inches). For metric products, inch sizes are indicative, calculated values, not recorded by reading from the strap. For products with inch size, inch is the length declared by the manufacturer, mm is the calculated value.
