Special timing belts

General information

In the special timing belt product group, we have grouped those timing belt products - which are otherwise standard based on certain properties - and which, due to their design, are suitable for performing special tasks. Cable pull belts are toothed belts with a thin polyurethane coating on the back. As their name indicates, cable pulling belts are usually used to convey wires and cables, mostly during production and cutting. The hardness (color) and thickness of the polyurethane coating may vary. The belts are made with a standard number of teeth, profile and width, but can be made from any product upon individual request.

Foil tension belts are toothed belts with a thicker red polyurethane coating, usually 6.4 mm thick, on the reverse side. As the name of the film pulling belts indicates, they are usually used in the packaging industry for conveying films. The hardness and thickness of the polyurethane coating can be changed on individual request. The belts are made with a standard number of teeth, profile and width, but can be made from any product upon individual request.

Mill industry belts, or grinding roller drive belts, are suitable for driving oppositely rotating (serpentine driven) rollers. They can transfer drive on both sides. in this product group there are mill industry belts toothed on one side and ribbed on the other side. On one side there is a toothed belt with STD, HTD or RPP tooth profile, and on the other side there is a PK type longitudinal rib belt. There are also mill industry belts with longitudinal ribs on both sides. you can find these under the Malomipari longitudinal rib belts menu item!
