Double-sided long
General information
Double-sided longitudinal belts have longitudinal ribs on both sides. Double-sided longitudinal belts are used to drive serpentine drives (shafts rotating opposite each other) simultaneously. One side of the belt drives the axes threaded on it clockwise, and the other side drives it in the opposite direction. In theory, any type of longitudinal belt can be made into a double-sided longitudinal belt. Their designations are: PJ - D-PJ or PJ DD, PK - D-PK or PK DD, PL - D-PL or PL DD, PM - D-PM or PM DD.
The use of double-sided longitudinal belts is quite rare. Most often you can meet it in the food industry. Here, they are usually used to drive grinding rollers rotating opposite each other. These can be found in the Milling Industry longitudinal belts menu item.
