Profile MXL inch toothed belt

Description

Classic inch toothed belts are belts suitable for non-slip drive transmission (as in the case of chain drive), since not only the friction force, but also teeth hold the belt in position. They are made of rubber with fiberglass force-bearing thread. Due to its American origin, it has an inch size division. (The inch size of the length is obtained by dividing the model number by 100.) MXL belts have a pitch of 2,032 mm (2/25 inch). MXL belts have a wedge angle of teeth of 40 degrees. The tooth height is 0.51mm, the total profile height is 1.2mm. The maximum width of the tooth is 1.14mm.

MXL toothed belt widths are available in mm. When ordering, it is necessary to specify how wide the strap should be. (Any width can be selected, standard widths are: 3.2mm = dial code 012, 4.8mm = dial code 019, 6.4mm = dial code 025, 8mm = dial code 031, 9.5mm = dial code 037)  Price and quantity unit: 1 mm.

This strap is individually cut from the sleeve made in the factory about 1 m wide when ordered. Since it is considered a custom production, we do not exchange or take it back, and we do not accept withdrawal from the customer after the start of production (sending the confirmation).

The shipped width of MXL belts may differ from the nominal width. The tolerance is +0.5mm and -0.8mm regardless of the nominal width.

Attention! Some manufacturers mark MXL belts by inch size. This is also how the part numbers are presented in our table. The MXL inscription is followed by the length of the strap in inch size, the last two digits of which are decimal designations. Example: MXL1160 = 11.60 inch length*25.4mm = 294.64 ~ 295mm length. Other manufacturers mark MXL toothed belts by indicating the number of teeth before the MXL marking. Example: 145MXL = 145*2.032mm = 294.64~295mm. That is, the designations 145 MXL and MXL1160 can denote the same strap. Check the part number and description for accurate identification.
