Profile HTD-14M toothed belt
Description
HTD toothed belts are belts suitable for non-slip drive transmission (as in the case of chain drive), since not only frictional force, but also teeth hold the belt in position. They are made of rubber with fiberglass force-bearing thread. The PIX TorquePlus HTD-14M toothed belt has a fully standard design that adheres to the disc in a semicircular shape for maximum power transfer. Used specifically in HTD-14M discs. Optibelt Omega tooth design is slightly different from the standard HTD tooth design. due to this difference, the belt can be operated quieter and can be used in RPP pulleys in addition to HTD pulleys. The Megadyne RPP design also differs from standard HTD teeth, but the manufacturer guarantees perfect power transmission in HTD-14M and RPP14 discs.
HTD-14M toothed belts are available in mm width. When ordering, it is necessary to specify how wide the strap should be. (Any width can be selected, standard widths are: 40mm, 55mm, 85mm, 115mm, 170mm.) Price and quantity unit: 1 mm. This strap is individually cut from the sleeve made in the factory about 1 m wide when ordered. Since it is considered a custom production, we do not exchange or take it back, and we do not accept withdrawal from the customer after the start of production (sending the confirmation).
The delivered width of HTD14M belts may differ from the nominal width. The tolerance for belts with nominal widths narrower than 40mm (regardless of length size) is +0.8mm and -1.3mm. At nominal widths of 40-55mm, up to 840mm belt length, +1.3-1.3mm. 840mm belt length from +1.5mm to -1.5mm. For belts with nominal sizes of 55-85mm, up to 1680mm length, +1.5mm and -1.5mm. For HTD14M belts with a nominal width of 55-85mm reaching or exceeding 1680mm, the width tolerance can be +1.5mm and -2.0mm. From 85mm nominal width to 840mm length size below +2.3mm and -2.3mm. From 840mm upwards it can be +2.3mm and -2.8mm.
For the same use, you can find belts for different power levels in the table below. Megadyne RPP and PIX XAct are normal strength. Megadyne Silver and PIX Torque Plus are triple strength. Megadyne Gold has four times the strength. Megadyne Platinum has a strength of 5.8x.
