Rod ends with external thread

Description

Threaded ball joints are also called rod ends and can be made with an external thread. A GE type ball joint is installed in a cast housing that is externally threaded. The nominal size of the external thread is always the same as the nominal shaft diameter of the GE eye.Ball joints with external thread can be of SA or SAKAC design. Ball joints with external thread can be made with right-hand or left-hand thread. Right-hand drive is the basic designation. In the case of left-hand traffic, an L is indicated. SAL or SALKAC.

The additional properties of external threaded ball joints are marked with prefixes or suffixes. The most common markings for ball joints without external are the following: S sign=stainless, S suffix=groove and lubrication holes on both rings, E=slotted outer ring, C=maintenance-free, M7=sliding surface steel/bronze, 2RS=with rubber seal.
