1 phase (230V) 4-pole (1500 1/MIN) electric motors
Description
The single-phase, 4-pole electric motors have a theoretical speed of 1500 1/min at an operating voltage of 230V and a frequency of 50Hz. The real speed is somewhere around 90% of the theoretical speed. Always check the speed of the electric motor you want to purchase.
The 1-phase four-pole electric motors available in our webshop can be purchased with different flange designs. B3 stands for rimless footed version, B14 stands for small-rimmed baseless version, B5 stands for large-rimmed baseless. The B34 is the electric motor with small flanges and bases, the B35 is the electric motor with large flanges and bases. Our stock usually includes B34 engines.
Attention: When using our electric motors, either a motor protection switch or a frequency converter must be used for their intended purpose. Engine burnout is improper use, it does not entitle you to warranty repair!
What does 1 phase motor mean?
1-phase asynchronous electric motors (typically in households) are designed for use on single-phase power grids. In Hungary, this means using 230V and 50Hz AC. Single-phase electric motors contain only one coil, so no rotating magnetic field is created inside. To start them, you need a capacitor and an auxiliary coil. These additional components are integrated into the junction box located on the motor. Single-phase asynchronous electric motors deliver only a small part of their rated torque (about 40%) at start-up. In the case of starting under load, an additional capacitor must therefore be installed in single-phase electric motors. The additional capacitor is not part of the motors, please contact us before ordering!
European efficiency rule:
Energy efficiency class IE refers to motor efficiency. 1 is the base, 2 is better, 3 is good, 4 is best. According to Regulation (EU) 2019/1781, IE4 motors may be put into operation in continuous operation (Duty S1) or partial operation (Duty S3>=80 Duty S6>=80) up to power up to 0.12-0.749 kW at least IE2, 0.75-1000kW at least IE3, power between 0.75 and 200kW, IE4 motors in case of 2-4-6 poles after 01.07.2023.
