Elastic PJ longitudinal belt
Description
Standard longitudinal (microrib) belts combine the advantages of flat belts and belts with a wedge profile. They fit in a small space, do not require a large disc, yet have a large adhesive surface, so they can transfer large forces. They achieve high belt speeds and are not susceptible to shock stress.
PJ profile elastic longitudinal belts are mainly used on smaller compressors and automotive engines. They have a profile height of 3.5mm and a pitch of 2.34mm measured from mid-rib to mid-rib. The wedge angle of the longitudinal ribs is 40 degrees. The Size3 field shows the length of the product measured in coll. The characteristics field shows the imperial sizable part number.
Their construction is practically identical to standard industrial PJ belts, but they are made with a flexible force thread. Due to their flexibility, they can also be mounted on drives where the wheelbase cannot be adjusted. Unfortunately, the size range available is much narrower than the standard PJ model size range. Elastic PJ straps are ordered pre-cut. Only sizes in the table can be ordered.
