10x8 (AVX10) automotive V-belt

Description

Automotive V-belts are very similar to the toothed narrow V-belt. The AVX10 V-belt could also be the “twin” of the XPZ belt... Its profile is 10x8mm. It can handle high-speed drives and also drive through smaller V-belt pulleys. They are resistant to oils and vibrations. Typically they can be used between -25 and +100 °C. Certain sizes have “trapezoidal” teeth, unlike other timing belts. Their elongation is typically low and they tolerate tension well.

Their typical size is the external size (La), measured in millimeters. (Attention, the nominal size of the XPZ belt is Lp, in case of replacement, first convert the XPZ belt to La (outer size). To calculate, use the Technical data tab for the XPZ belt...)

The advantage of automotive V-belts compared to industrial belts is that they are manufactured in many (close) sizes, which is why they are often used for industrial or agricultural applications on machines where the wheelbase cannot be adjusted. (Because in the automotive industry there are sizes that are not available for other belts.)
