10x6 (Z) clad classic V-belt
Description
The rubber core of the V-belt is coated with fabric. Characteristically it has a black color. The mark of the size Z strap comes from the ISO marking of the product. All straps about 10 mm wide have this letter in their marking. However, if the letter Z stands alone, it always stands for classic clad V-belt with a profile width of 10mm and a profile height of 6mm. The Size fields show the nominal millimeter size of the strap and the calculated inch size.
The Description field indicates the nominal internal size, the nominal force carrier size and the nominal inch size. This value is the value of the same belt length measured at different locations and is for information/comparison.
The size printed on the product is the internal size (Li). This is true even if the Li marking was not printed on the V-belt with a classic profile. If you just want to buy a classic V-belt, don't plan/calculate and don't want to switch to some other product, pay attention only to this one number!
The belt with a profile of 10x6 mm can be used for a pulley marked SPZ. From a technical point of view, it has an average range of applications, but it is a reliable and inexpensive solution for belt drives.
