06B Coil Chains

Description

One roll of chain 06B has a length of 5 meters. (For some products, it can be 50m or 100m, this will be marked separately.) Each box contains a terkert roller chain and a piece of straight snap link. Roller chains marked 06B can be single-row (simplex, designated 06B-1), two-row (duplex, marked 06B-2) and three-row (triplex, designated 06B-3). The chains marked 06B have a pitch of 9.525 mm, an inner width of 5.72 mm and a roller diameter of 6.35 mm. This is the roller chain "three-eighths". For roller chains marked 06B, snap links and/or sprockets marked 06B must be used.

When riding a chain drive, the tensile strength of the roller chains specified in the catalogue must always be taken into account! A downloadable catalogue can be found under the Downloadable Documents tab.

What you need to know about ISO BS roller chains?

A significant part of the roller chains used in Europe are manufactured according to ISO R606. This standard is originally based on the English standard BS228, which is why ISO chains are often referred to as ISO (BS) roller chains. Based on their structure, roller chains consist of a pin, roller, connecting plate (sponge cake). The material and design of the parts determine the quality of the roller chains. However, the value specified in the standard is usually met by roller chains of any manufacturer. In everyday use, reinforced chains are usually not required. The ISO (BS) standard does not specify a standard for reinforced designs. Reinforced ISO roller chains, which may be commercially available, are manufactured according to the individual ideas of manufacturers. (From reinforced chains, ANSI H standard reinforced versions are also widespread in Europe.)
