Description
Narrow profile clad V-belts with the same profile width have a higher profile height than classic V-belts. Due to the larger adhesive surface, they provide greater torque transmission and generally longer service life. Typically, they are black in color. The SPB V-belt is a pair of B belt with increased profile height (14mm height). Due to this distinction, some manufacturers have a nominal profile width of 16.3mm instead of 17. For simplicity, we indicate a profile width of 17mm for each strap.
