Narrow profile V-belts

General information

V-belts with narrow profile are an improved version of classic belts. The same belt width is matched by a higher profile, increasing the power transmission area. The manufactured sizes are SPZ, SPA, SPB, SPC, 3V, 5V, 8V. The designation 'Z', 'A', 'B', 'C' in the type marks refers to the widths familiar from classic belts.  V-marked belts are inch-sized, their use has recently begun to spread together with machines coming from the East.

In our webshop we also indicate the imperial size of the narrow profile belts in the Size3 field. For metric products, inch sizes are indicative, calculated values, not recorded by reading from the strap. For inch size products, inch is the length declared by the manufacturer and mm is the calculated value. Use the reinforced narrow profile belt if the normal quality has not worked, or if you are looking for a belt for very high loads, or if it is prescribed by the manufacturer of the machine. (Reinforced V-belts work perfectly even in normal applications, it's just unnecessary to buy a strong one for everyday use...)

V-belts with narrow profiles are also produced in serrated versions. Toothed belts can also rotate on a pulley of smaller diameter and are capable of transmitting slightly more torque due to the "grip" of the teeth. Their letter is 'X'. XPZ, XPA, XPB, XPC. For inch straps: 3VX, 5VX. Actually, belts marked AVX (AVX10, AVX13, AVX17) can also be included here, but these belts can be found in a separate group in our webshop under the Automotive belts menu.
