HTD pulleys

General information

HTD toothed belt discs belong to HTD toothed belts with the same pitch. The division of HTD discs is always metric. This means that the centers of the teeth (or the centers of the valleys) are in all cases exactly 3, 5, 8 or 14 millimeters apart. HTD toothed belt discs have a semicircular profile on the teeth and in the valleys. The HTD toothed belt with the correct pitch fits into this. Smaller HTD toothed pulleys are typically made of aluminum, while larger ones are made of steel.

A toothed pulley of very large size can also be made of casting. Smaller toothed pulleys are flanged, while larger ones are available rimless. For rimless versions or individual pulleys made of rack and pinion, a guide flange is available for retrofitting.
