Pre-drilled pulleys

General information

V-pulleys cannot be used without V-pulleys. The notch on the pulley fits the V-belt profile. V-pulleys are attached to the drive and drive shafts. One - convenient - way of attaching this is the tapered clamp (TAPER BUSH). The outer part of the tapered clamp is the tapered part, which fits into the socket formed on the pulley. The clamp is fixed in the tapered clamping pulley with caterpillar bolts. A huge advantage is that the tapered clamps are interchangeable, that is, in case of possible future use of the V-pulley, only the inside needs to be replaced.

Another advantage is that it does not require machining, it can be immediately fixed to the shaft without drilling and carving. We stock tapered clamping pulleys marked SPZ, SPA, SPB. Dial numbering: the letter of the belt profile used (Z, A, B, C, D), the nominal diameter / number of tracks and an E indicating that the disc is pre-drilled... Fun fact: the diameter of the discs is always slightly larger than their nominal size, because the nominal size is always calculated according to the useful (Lp) belt size, i.e. a few mm below the flange. (The exact difference between the actual outer diameter of the pulleys and the nominal diameter is indicated in the description of the products.)
