PU V-belts
General information
Plastic V-belts are made of PVC or polyurethane. PU V-belts can be spliced by baking. Plastic V-belts are often used for material handling, but they also occur as drive belts on certain equipment. In this case, Kevlar fiber reinforced version is usually used. They are also made in a unique design with accessories baked on the top profile. These belts are custom-made and cannot be ordered piecemeal. The exception is the V-belt with SUPERGRIP roughened coating, on the top profile width of which a green or red wear-resistant roughened material is baked, which is responsible for precise transport.
You can find SUPERGRIP coated belts in groups A and B. Belts with different shore hardness are color-coded.
