12B Coil Chains
Description
One roll of chain 12B has a length of 5 meters. (For some products, it can be 50m or 100m, this will be marked separately.) Each box contains a roll roller chain and a piece of straight snap link. Roller chains marked 12B can be single-row (simplex, denoted 12B-1), two-row (duplex, marked 12B-2) and three-row (triplex, marked 12B-3). The chains marked 12B have a division of 19.05mm, an inner width of 11.68mm, and a roller diameter of 12.07mm. This is the "three-quarter-inch" roller chain. For roller chains marked 12B, snap links and/or sprockets marked 12B must be used.

What you need to know about ISO BS roller chains?
A significant part of the roller chains used in Europe are manufactured according to ISO R606. This standard is originally based on the English standard BS228, which is why ISO chains are often referred to as ISO (BS) roller chains. Based on their structure, roller chains consist of a pin, roller, connecting plate (sponge cake). The material and design of the parts determine the quality of the roller chains. However, the value specified in the standard is usually met by roller chains of any manufacturer. In everyday use, reinforced chains are usually not required. The ISO (BS) standard does not specify a standard for reinforced designs. Reinforced ISO roller chains, which may be commercially available, are manufactured according to the individual ideas of manufacturers. (From reinforced chains, ANSI H standard reinforced versions are also widespread in Europe.)
