Clamp rimless pulley

Description

Flat belt discs can be used for flat belts of all designs. The nominal width of the pulley and the belt must be approximately the same to form the correct drive. When installing pulleys, special attention should be paid to the parallelism of the discs and the angular deviation of the shafts, because the leaf belts tend to "wander" through the pulley. In case of improper installation, the belt will constantly fall off the pulley. Traditionally, rimless pulleys are used. These pulleys have a convex mantle, so-called barrel design.

This design is necessary so that the sheet belt "does not climb" to the side, does not fall off the pulley during rotation. The barrel design puts more tension on the belt in the middle of the disc, making it difficult to move sideways. Rimless pulleys can be made of aluminium, cast iron or steel. Only cast belt discs can be ordered in our webshop. A taper bush is required to attach the clamping pulleys to the shaft. Without a clamp, the disc cannot be fixed on the shaft. The tapered clamping is not included with the clamping pulley and must be purchased separately. The tapered clamps can be found in the shaft joints menu item in the ekszij.hu webshop. A tapered clamp of the type specified in the pulley part number and size data shall be selected for the disc with a hole corresponding to the shaft size to be used.
