13x10 (AVX13) automotive V-belt
Description
Automotive V-belts are very similar to toothed V-belts with a narrow profile. The AVX13 V-belt could also be the "twin" of the XPA strap... Its profile is 13x10mm. It can withstand high-speed drive and mini-disc pass-through. It has good oil resistance and vibration resistance. They can typically be used between -25 and +100 °C. Some of their dimensions have a different "trapezoid" serration than other serrated belts. They typically have little elongation and tolerate strain well.
Their typical size is the outer dimension (La) measured in millimeters. (Note that the nominal size of the XPA strap is Lp, in case of redemption, first convert the XPA strap to La. To convert, use the Technical Data tab on the XPA strap...)
The advantage of automotive V-belts is that they are made in many sizes (close to each other), so they are often used for industrial or agricultural applications in machines where the wheelbase cannot be adjusted. (Because there are sizes in the automotive industry that other industrial V-belts don't.)
