Spherical Plain Bearings GE

Description

GE series ball joints are sliding bearings that use a specially designed, hemispherical, matching outer and inner ring as a sliding surface. It can be suitable for both axial and radial loads, even at the same time. The advantage is that - since it does not contain balls or rollers - the size difference between the shaft size and the outer size is very small. The sign of the standard version is GE. The GEH symbol means a reinforced inner ring (wider than the outer ring). In the case of the GEM version, there is a collision surface on both sides of the wide inner ring, which prevents the ball joint (bearing) from being overstretched.

In the case of GE series ball joints, additional properties are marked with a prefix or suffix. The most common signs: E=split outer ring, S=annular groove and lubrication hole on both sides, C=maintenance-free.
